  • The answer varies between programs and grade levels. Students will need to complete 2 to 3 assignments in each course every week. Students will spend approximately 5 hours a day for five days a week, or 25 hours per week in grades 6-12. Progress for each student will be monitored weekly, and the percent complete in each course should increase each week.

  • Students can still participate in sports. In addition to the required participation forms and physical, students will need to have an EL-14 completed and returned to the coach or the athletic director. This form is available at ww.fhsaa.org under the students and parents tab.

For safety reasons, students cannot stay at school unattended once the class has ended, or arrive on campus before the class starts. If more than one class is taken on campus, the classes must be taken in consecutive periods as reflected on the master schedule.

  • Diplomas are issued through the student’s home-zoned traditional high school.

  • CCA full-time students receive the same devices and tools that traditional Columbia County Schools students receive. Students who are part-time students do not receive district student devices.
